Jordan
Reyne has found acclaim the world over. In her native country (New
Zealand) she was nominated 3 times for a New Zealand Music
award, and and comended at the Silver Scroll awards.
Internationally Reyne has been received comments such as "May be making
the most important sound this year" (Channel 4, UK)
and "Visionary. She creates sound pictures of unbelievable intensity
and depth, eerily beautiful, bleak, touching and disturbing. One of the
most talented and groundbreaking musicians I have interviewed" (Noctournal
Hall, Germany). She has sung or contributed music for films
and documentaries including Peter Jacksons Lord of the Rings,
Blessed, and the ever popular New Zealand telivision series "Shortland
Street".

first pioneer women from Gravesend, London who settled in Karamea with
her husband. Reyne was commissioned by Creative NZ and D.O.C for the
project.
